Lawrence Anderson

Former Ambassador of Singapore to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Since the beginning of his career with the Singapore Foreign Service in 1984, Anderson has served in many roles, such as the Ambassador of Singapore to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and as a non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
More recently, Anderson has served as Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), where he oversaw ASEF’s work in acting as the civil society outreach for the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) and to promote people-to-people exchange between Asia and Europe.

Her work has provided the opportunity to represent Canadian agriculture on the international stage.

Dr. Silvia T. Cardona is a Professor and the Associate Head (Graduate Affairs) in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Cardona is passionate about research and mentoring the next generation of scientists. In 2017, Dr. Cardona achieved a Faculty of Science Best Mentor Award, thanks to the nominations she received from current and previous trainees.
